VEGAN CAFE X FABRIC STUDIO
We know picking fabrics is personal. We know you need space to think, to rationalize, to feel which colors are right for your next line of clothes or which patterns you want to furnish your living room with. So we created a Fabric Studio filled with inspiration to help you find clarity and ideas. Bulliontex’s Fabric Studio is housed by our baby company – Kappra Cafe. We encourage you to take your time and make the right choices as you feast on our colorful food. To help guide you, the space is filled with the creative knowledgeable voices of our fabric experts; even more so, books and magazines filled with patterns, colors and ideas are sitting on our shelves, waiting for you to come and browse!
THE FOOD
Kappra Cafe shares creative plant-based cuisine with all as well as brings textile enthusiasts together in the most relaxing and fun way. Visit Kappra Cafe next door to Bulliontex and enjoy our carefully curated signature coffees, teas, cookies, open faced sandwiches and kati (whole wheat) roti wraps. Our space provides you unparalleled comfort and excitement in your fabric-choosing. There is no better way to celebrate our body, our planet, creativity and fashion all in one place. We also heavily emphasize sustainability in packaging, our retail products and delivery. We source a balance of high quality local and imported ingredients, depending on what is best for your body, your soul and our planet.
OUR SPACE
The Fabric Studio is open to all artists to design, create, work or hang out for as long as we’re open! We want to foster a loving environment for collaboration, working in solitude or whatever it is you need in your creative process. We cannot wait to start holding regular workshops to do with art, photography, fashion, entrepreneurship and sustainability.
MURALS
Our decision to invite local art students from the Poh-Chang Academy of Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin (the oldest artistic institution in Thailand, the closest university to our space and Papa Kappra’s favourite!) to paint our walls was because we wanted to create an ode to the community. Kappra Cafe is about the people around us and supporting the locals of the Tha Din Daeng pier. This creation of art has changed the energy in the area, brought excited people together, and it is very beautifully preserving the history of the river-side!
